Planning to sell your jewellery or gemstones? Our resale and market valuations provide an honest and independent assessment of your item’s current worth—helping you set a fair price and negotiate with confidence. Valuations Reports start from $250 for the first Item & $200 for additional standard items. Included in the Valuation, your Jewellery Items are inspected & given a quick clean by the jeweller at no extra charge. Please book via our appointment page above. A $50 deposit is required with all bookings to secure your time slot.

Whether you are looking to update your records or documents a recent purchase, our independent valuations ensure transparency and confidence.
Insurance & Ownership Valuations
An Insurance Valuation offers peace of mind. It provides a detailed and independently assessed document that outlines the replacement value of your jewellery in the event of a loss, theft or damage, ensuring you are properly covered. Insurance Valuation reports start at $250 for the first item and $200 for each additional standard items. Complex jewellery items such as Antique Rings & Brooches, Argyle Pink Diamonds, Diamonds over 2 carats are quoted upon inspection. If you have multiple items and some of the items are simple such as plain gold chains, loose coloured gemstones, rings without stones, we can provide a reduced rate if there is over 5 items or more. If you would like a quote before hand, please take photos of the items, list the number items along with a description and email us at: perthjewelleryvaluations@outlook.com. We will respond within 48 hours. Or feel free to make a booking on our appointment page above. A deposit is $50 is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment with the valuer. You will be required to pay the full amount for the service prior to work comencing and this is done once we have seen the items . Our normal turn time is 2 to 3 weeks. We have to keep the items for this duration. Once the Valuations are completed we will notify you and make a time for collection. This is a fairly quick process, if you allow 15 to 20 minutes. You must bring your receipt with you so that we can confirm the return of your goods.

As a proud member of the National Council of Jewellery Valuers we follow a strict code of ethics based on professional integrity, continuous learning and the pursuit of the highest industry standards in Australia. - If your legal team has asked you to provide valuations as part of a Property Settlement, we can prepare a detailed list outlining the items and the Fair Market Value for your file. - Bankruptcy Valuations for Jewellery, Gold Coins, Bullion and Watches can be prepared to your requirements. - ATO and Self Managed Superfund requirements for up dated Asset Valuations. - Deceased Estate Valuations & Distribution, we can provide valuations for Jewellery, Gold Coins and Bullion which will help you fulfil your obligations towards the beneficiaries. Custom Consultancy Services
Every gem has a story—and sometimes, the situation doesn’t fit into a neat category. Our consultancy service offers expert guidance for unique circumstances, including assesments of large jewellery collections, investment appraisals, and education for buyers or sellers. Self Managed Super Funds and the necessary steps you have to take to remain compliant, up to date valuations for reporting requirements. We can liaise with specialised Auction Houses around the world on your behalf to liquidate important items of jewellery or watches. We have contacts in Melbourne, London, Hong Kong and New York. This service is based on an hourly rate of $400 not including any written reports.

Estate and probate valuations are essential when administering a loved one’s estate. Our services are delivered with sensitivity, accuracy, and legal compliance, ensuring a smooth process for executors, solicitors, and beneficiaries.

Deceased Estates are a major part of the work we do, if you have been tasked with sorting out a lifetime of jewellery, medals, coins, antique silverware and watches, please feel free to call for a chat and estimate of fees. We might be able to do group lots with a verbal estimate on the items that have little value to save time and cost. Items of value will need written reports to meet the obligations of winding up an Estate. Please use the online booking form on the appointment page, select the "Shoe Box Option".

WATCHES

We can no longer provide Valuations on LUXURY Swiss Watches. These include the following Brands: ROLEX, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Vacheron Constantin, IWC, Cartier, Panerai, Blacpain and Hublot. The reason is due to many factors and the ever evolving Swiss Watch Makers and their warranty programs. We do not have the ability to inspect and confirm the origin of the many parts that go into these watches. With the amount of counterfeit watches that have filtered into the market and the aftermarket parts like bands, bezels, movements and dials, we do not have the range of reference materials needed to keep up with the models produced within each Watch Group and provide an accurate report for the watch, being 100% original and its current value. Along with the retirement of our wonderful watchmaker at the end of this year, we will no longer have the extra time or 50 years of expertise needed to fulfill this niche area of luxury watches. If we can suggest returning the watch to the place of purchase or contacting the manufacturer directly for a current valuation. For MID Range Swiss watches and Japanese Watches: Tag Heuer, Grand Seiko, Omega, Longines, Breitling, Oris, Tissot, Rado and similar we can still provide a formal valuation for these at $400 per watch. If you would like to go ahead with a valuation please book via the APPOINTMENT tab on the main menu. If you have the original box, receipts and warranty cards please bring them with you. Pocket Watches can be valued and they are $400 each. If you are unsure, please email a photo of the watch and a detailed description and we will respond within 48 hours.
