Perth Jewellery Valuations is an Independent Valuation and appraisal service that specialises in providing professional registered jewellery valuation certificates and reports to the jewellery trade, private clients, insurance, legal and financial institutions.
We offer jewellery valuation and appraisal services by qualified valuers. We specialise in the identification, assessment, and valuation of jewellery, diamonds, coloured stones and pearls.
Our valuations are supported by our modern gemmological laboratory, operating in accordance with local and international standards. Perth Jewellery Valuations laboratory equipment allows for precise scientific testing methods.
Perth Jewellery Valuations is a registered member of the National Council of Jewellery Valuers (NCJV) and Gemmological Association of Australia (GAA) we adhere to a code of ethics that protects the customer, upholds quality standards, and provides accurate and fair advice. A registered NCJV valuer is the Gold Standard and are recognised by the Australian Courts.

He is a proud second generation Australian Jeweller, Gemmologist and Valuer.
Specialising in Antique and Vintage Jewellery, we have had the pleasure of handling tresures from our National Museums to Jewellery Collections of Royalty. We maintain expertise by undertaking professional development through recognized training courses both locally and internationally which allows us to keep up to date with the global market.

Valuation Services
1. Retail InsuranceThe value of a lost or stolen item if it has to be replaced from a traditional jewellery shop. This valuation is usually for insurance purposes.2. Auction Reserve The minimum price which the owner could expect to achieve at an auction, excluding premiums and commissions of the auctioneer.3. Fair Market ValueA second-hand price in a respectable or specialised market between a willing buyer and seller.4. Forced SaleThe expected price of an item which has to be sold quickly in non-ideal market conditions.5. Second-handAn appraisal based on the condition of the jewellery and current market trends.6. Private SaleThe price that you could expect to achieve by selling jewellery to a member of the public, excluding GST, and sales and duty tax.7. Divorced Property SettlementThe Family Court will often issue instructions for a valuation based on fair market value. 8. Deceased EstateA valuation which reflects current market value subject to instructions from the solicitor.
